ABC/Image Group LATaylor Swift didn’t attend the Oscars last night with boyfriend, The Favourite star Joe Alwyn, but she did hit up at least one post-Oscar party…and was still very much on her fans’ minds.
She posted two Instagram photos over the weekend that sparked speculation she will be releasing her seventh album soon. It’s all in the cryptic details.
In one photo, she’s laying on top of a spiral staircase in a sparkly fringe dress. Fans noticed she was “conveniently sitting 7 steps down.” In another post shared nine hours earlier, she captioned a photo of the Los Angeles skyline with seven palm tree emojis.
One Twitter user wrote, “miss taylor swift, are u giving us hint or u’re just teasing us bc OMG OMG OMG THOSE ARE 7 PALM TREES IS THIS TS7 YOURE GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK.”
Another Swiftie thinks Taylor is just messing with them.
“I swear @taylornation13 @taylorswift13 are taking full advantage of the fact we will over analyze everything and are now just playing around pointing to 7 at every opportunity possible,” the fan wrote.
Aside from throwing her fans into a tizzy, Taylor helped two fans celebrate their engagement at a party this weekend.
Alex Goldschmidt got Taylor to surprise his fiancé, Ross, by crashing their party to sing a song that’s very special to them, “King of My Heart,” from her album Reputation. Alex wrote on Twitter, “I will never be able to thank @taylorswift13 enough. I am the luckiest man in the world.”
