Image Group LA/ABCAriana Grande has dethroned Selena Gomez as the most-followed woman on Instagram.
Selena previously held the title with 146,267,801 followers, but now Ariana has about 20,000 more followers.
The two are both surpassed by soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, who holds the record for most-followed person on Instagram. He took that title from Selena back in October.
Selena’s likely not too bothered, since she’s been stepping back from social media as of late. Ariana, meanwhile, has a very active online presence. According to Billboard, she’s gained more than 13 million new Instagram followers in the last four months.
