ABC/Image Group LANick Jonas is getting into the Oscars spirit.
Ahead of the 91st Academy Awards this Sunday, the singer posted a snippet of his cover of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” from A Star Is Born.
The video, taken by his wife Priyanka Chopra, shows Nick strumming his guitar and singing his own rendition of Bradley’s first verse in the duet.
“In honor of Oscar weekend… such a beautiful song,” Nick captioned the post.
Gaga and Bradley will be performing the song at the Oscars ceremony, which airs Sunday night on ABC at 8 p.m ET/5 p.m. PT.
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of “Shallow,” which she performed during a tour stop earlier this month, has gone viral, racking up nearly three million views.
Last year, Nick was nominated for a Golden Globe for the song “Home,” which he wrote for the animated flick Ferdinand.
