Locomotion / Geffen RecordsThe video for Yungblud‘s song “11 Minutes,” which he recorded with Halsey and Blink-182‘s Travis Barker, is streaming now on YouTube.
The cinematic visual follows the English rocker as he goes through five stages of grief — denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance — after his partner, played by Halsey, dies in a car crash. In between, you see quick shots of Barker playing the drums.
Halsey and Yungblud are rumored to be romantically involved in real life.
“We don’t realize how much we need something until it’s taken away from us,” says Yungblud of the video. “We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us.”
“11 Minutes” follows Yungblud’s single “Loner,” which was released in January.
