Kelly Clarkson, Bebe Rexha, Taylor Swift receive Academy of Country Music Awards nominations

Carter SmithKelly Clarkson, Bebe Rexha and Taylor Swift are able to move back and forth between the worlds of country and pop with ease, so it’s no surprise they’ve each received nominations for the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be presented in Las Vegas in April.

Bebe is nominated for Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Event of the Year for “Meant to Be,” her smash collaboration with Florida Georgia Line.  It was a huge pop hit, but it also spent 50 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s country chart.

Kelly is also up for Music Event of the Year.  Her nod is for “Keeping Score,” a collaboration she recorded with country duo Dan + Shay.  The “Tequila” duo is one of this year’s leading ACM nominees, with six nods in all.

Taylor is up for Video of the Year for “Babe,” her collaboration with Sugarland.  Not only does she sing on the track, but she also co-stars in the video, along with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles.

Meanwhile, country star Maren Morris, who sang on the Grammy-nominated pop hit “The Middle,” is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.

The ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire, will be handed out live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7, starting at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
