ABC/Paula LoboEd Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande were among the big winners at the BRIT Awards, the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys, which were held Wednesday in London.
Ed took home the BRITs Global Success award, Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris won the prize for British Single for their collaboration “One Kiss,” and Ariana nabbed the International Female Solo Artist trophy. Calvin also took home the British Producer of the Year award.
Other winners include Drake for International Male Solo Artist, Beyonce and Jay-Z – aka The Carters – for International Group, and Little Mix for British Video for their song “Woman Like Me,” featuring Nicki Minaj.
The Carters accepted their award in a pre-taped video message inspired by the scene in their “APESH**” music video where they stand in front of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa in the Louvre museum. This time, they were shown standing in front of a painting of Meghan Markle.
As previously reported, Pink was honored with the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, making her the first international artist to have that honor bestowed upon her.
