The 2019 Calvin Klein #MyCalvins ad, starring Shawn, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star Noah Centineo, rapper A$AP Rocky, and Kendall Jenner, has now been released. Set to the ’80s synth-pop hit “True Faith” by the British new wave group New Order, the commercial features all four stars, plus a group of random young people, singing along to the tune as they go about their daily activities.
We see Shawn in his underwear, standing in a kitchen eating cereal, before zipping up a pair of grey Calvin Klein jeans. Then we see him sitting on a couch playing the song on his guitar and singing along. “Our now. #MyCalvins,” reads the ad’s tagline.
“So excited about this campaign,” Shawn wrote on Instagram next to a clip of the commercial.
According to Billboard, after Shawn posted the initial photos of himself on Instagram, the post became his most-liked ever, with over eight million, and his most-commented-on, with over 450,000 comments.
