Zhamak FulladJust in time for Valentine’s Day, Lauv and Troye Sivan have released the video for their anti-Valentine’s Day song, “i’m so tired…”
In the video, the two singers are sick of seeing happy couples all around them.
“In ‘i’m so tired…’, Troye and I are bitter heartbroken ghosts amidst super-in-love couples who are being…all in love,” Lauv says in a statement about the video. “It was freezing. Troye was harnessed on top of a car and I almost fell off a diner. It was fun.”
The clip starts with Lauv in a diner, watching a young couple in love. He tries to interrupt their date by sitting on the table in between them, eating off their plates and drinking from the milkshake they’re sharing.
When Troye’s verse kicks in, we see him sitting on top of a car as it drives down the street. He stays on top of the car as the couple inside parks and starts to make out.
The video ends with Lauv setting off the alarm of another car, interrupting the couple’s make out session.
Lauv has said this duet is the last song he’ll be putting out until his debut album is ready.
