© 2018 Ellen Digital Ventures | In partnership with Warner Bros. EntertainmentThis Sunday at the Grammys, Pink is nominated in the category of Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2017 album Beautiful Trauma. But as she told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday, she’s already got a whole other album set to go.
“I’m shooting a video in a week, I think, with Michael Gracey, the director from Greatest Showman,” she revealed. “I’m really excited about that…amazing. And I have a new song, ‘Walk Me Home’ and a new album, Hurts to Be Human.”
Pink said the album would be out in April and “Walk Me Home” would be out in two weeks. She even sang a snippet of it for Ellen a cappella: “Walk me home in the dead of night/I can’t be alone with all that’s on my mind/Say you’ll stay with me tonight ’cause there is so much going on outside.”
As for that Grammy nomination, Pink noted that while she tends to get nominated frequently, she doesn’t really win very often, and she doesn’t expect to this weekend. She says her Grammy losses are something her husband Carey Hart acknowledges in a special way.
“This is my 20th nomination,” Pink pointed out. “Every time I lose, Carey makes me a tinfoil Grammy. And so this will be my 17th tin foil Grammy on Sunday!”
You can tune in Sunday night to see if Pink actually gets to take home a real Grammy this year. The ceremony airs at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
