ABC/Image Group LATaylor Swift’s accused stalker has officially been sentenced to six months in jail, according to the New York Post.
Roger Alvarado, 22, had already been serving time behind bars, so although the sentencing was just handed down, his six months are nearly complete.
The Post reports he plans to return to Florida to serve five years’ probation. He must also complete a mental health program.
Back in December, Alvarado took a plea deal on charges of criminal contempt and attempted burglary for breaking into the singer’s Soho townhouse last April. According to police, he had used her shower and was found sleeping in her bed. At the time, Taylor hadn’t moved in yet.
