Brian Bowen SmithWhile we wait for Meghan Trainor to release her new album, she’s giving us something to tide us over on Friday.
The Love Train, an EP with six tracks, arrives February 8, just in time for Valentine’s Day. At least one of the songs sounds pretty romantic: It’s called “Marry You.”
The rest of the tracks include “I’m Down,” “After You,” “All the Ways,” “Foolish” and “Good Mornin'” — that last one features a guest appearance by Meghan’s dad, Gary Trainor.
Last year, Meghan announced plans to release her third album, Treat Myself, but then pushed back its release. In December, about a week prior to her marriage to actor Daryl Sabara, the singer told ABC Radio she’d be going back in the studio as soon as she returned from her honeymoon.
So far, there’s no announced release date for the project.
