Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” sets record on “Billboard”’s Hot Christian Songs chart

ABC/Image Group LALauren Daigle’s pop crossover hit “You Say” just set a record on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart.

The song is number one on the chart for a 27th week, becoming the longest reign by a solo woman artist in the ranking’s 15-year existence.  “You Say” has surpassed the previous record holder, Carrie Underwood’s 2014 hit “Something in the Water.”

“You Say” is the third longest-running number one overall, behind Hillsong United’s “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail),” which spent 61 weeks at the top, and Hillsong Worship’s “What a Beautiful Name,” which spent 37 weeks at number one.

The Grammy-nominated hit is also in the top 40 on Billboard’s Pop Songs airplay chart, number seven on the Adult Pop Songs chart and number 18 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
