Christina Aguilera has announced a headlining Las Vegas residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, kicking off May 31. Tickets will go on sale to the public starting February 2, but American Express Card members, Caesars Rewards members, and fan pre-sale tickets will be available as early as tomorrow.
The show is called Christina Aguilera: The Xperience, and Christina says it’s, “going to be my most ambitious show yet.”
“Getting to perform in this adult playground we call Las Vegas is inspiring me to bring forth all of my talents in a mind-blowing theatrical experience – song, dance, visuals and uninterrupted high energy,” she adds.
“For years I have been collecting ideas and concepts that have yet to be implemented on my stages, and Las Vegas is the perfect opportunity for me to collectively showcase my artistry,” she concludes. “I cannot wait to bring you into The Xperience.“
The Xperience will be staged in the same theater that the Backstreet Boys will be vacating in late April, as they wrap up their Larger than Life residency and hit the road for a world tour in support of their album DNA.
The 16 shows going on sale are:
May 2019: 31
June 2019: 1, 5, 7, 8, 13, 15, 16
Sept. 2019: 20, 21, 24, 27, 28
Oct. 2019: 2, 4, 5
To mark the occasion, Christina will stream an intimate performance and Q&A live on Facebook on January 31 starting at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on her Facebook page.
