ABC/Lou RoccoRita Ora is getting in on the Super Bowl action.
Her song “Soul Survivor” will be featured in the first-ever Super Bowl ad for Bumble, the women-centric dating app. Tennis champ Serena Williams, Bumble’s Global Advisor, will star in the commercial.
“Writing this song was an emotional, but also freeing experience, and I’m so happy its message of empowerment is resonating with others,” Rita says in a statement.
“I always hope that my music will inspire, but I am particularly proud of this song and how it has encouraged women to speak their own truth and to carve their own path.”
She adds, “I am honored that Bumble selected ‘Soul Survivor’ as the anthem for such a powerful Super Bowl commercial.”
The song, which appears on Rita’s 2018 Phoenix album, can also be heard in a behind-the-scenes video released by Bumble on Wednesday for its campaign “The Ball Is in Her Court.” The campaign is all about women making the first move in life — just like they do on Bumble to connect with potential partners.
You can catch the full commercial during the big game on Sunday, February 3.
