CBS Films/LionsgateAndy Grammer is contributing a brandnew song to the soundtrack of the upcoming film Five Feet Apart.
The song, “Don’t Give Up On Me,” can be heard in the movie’s new trailer. Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson star as two teenagers with cystic fibrosis who fall in love, despite being advised to keep a safe distance from each other for the sake of their health.
The film is directed by Jane the Virgin star Justin Baldoni, who is an old pal of Andy’s.
“To [Justin Baldoni], from being my 1st roommate in LA, crashing on each other’s couches, to now producing & directing your 1st film, @FiveFeetApart,” Andy tweeted. “I couldn’t be more proud brotha! Having you use my song for such a special project means the world.”
Five Feet Apart hits theaters this March.
