Ruven AfanadorSam Smith is 26 years old but he says he’s already planning what his life will be like when he hits the big 3-0.
Speaking to the U.K. station Hits Radio, Sam explained, “When I get to 30, I would love to have kids, so I definitely would like to step off from touring and stuff for a few years and venture into that.”
“My plan is to just work super, super hard for the next four years of my life,” he added.
Asked how many kids he’d like to have, Sam said two, but added, “I think I need to find a husband, first, though! But I could do it alone.”
In other Sam Smith news, he’s now removed his eye patch, which he donned earlier this week after having surgery to remove a painful stye. He took to his Instagram Story to give a shout-out to the doctors in New Zealand — where he’s been on vacation — for helping him out.
Sam also posted a photo on his IG Story of himself without the eye patch; he looks like someone beat him up. He captioned the picture, “Kind of giving me Fight Club vibes, which I’m not mad at.”
