The two announced on Twitter Wednesday that their collaboration, “I’m So Tired,” will be released on January 24. The post is accompanied by a photo of the two of them standing in front of a rusty green swing.
“Guys not to be dramatic but this song legit is like an instant slapper,” Troye tweeted.
Earlier this week, Troye and Lauv hinted there was something in the works with videos on their social media accounts talking about how they made a playlist together of the best songs to fall asleep to.
They both insisted in their respective videos that they made the playlist for “no reason” and Troye called it “so random.” But now it’s clear they were teasing the upcoming collab.
Also, on January 1, Lauv tweeted, “i got a new song comin with a very iconic friend & i cant wait for you to hear it.”
Lauv currently has yet another collab on the chart: “There’s No Way,” which he did with Julia Michaels. The two were reportedly dating, but are now broken up.
