Epic RecordsMeghan Trainor just got married last month, but she’s already anxious to start a family with new husband Daryl Sabara.
The singer tells People that if it was up to them, they’d have kids immediately, but her work commitments are getting in the way.
“If we could do it how we want to, we’d be, like, totally preggo right now!” she says.
Instead, they’re going to wait until after she tours in support of her album Treat Myself, due out later this year. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t preparing themselves for when the time comes.
“We’re ready to rumble. I want some children! I want kids!” she adds. “We’re both so excited for it. We both constantly watch baby YouTube videos and lessons on YouTube, like ‘How to take care of an infant.’ [Laughs] We’re just getting prepared every single day.”
She adds, “But I’m gonna tour this album, then start thinking about doing it.”
Meghan and Daryl tied the knot in a backyard ceremony on December 22, Meghan’s 25th birthday.
