Dave MeyersAriana Grande‘s just-announced headlining set at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this spring will be history-making in more ways than one.
First of all, Ariana will be the “youngest headliner in the history of the festival,” according to her manager Scooter Braun. When Ari takes the stage, she’ll be 25 years old. She turns 26 in June.
Second, according to Braun, Ari will be only the fourth female artist ever to headline the festival, following Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Icelandic artist Bjork.
When Ariana takes the stage at the festival, though, it won’t be a debut — it’ll be a return. In April of 2018, she made a surprise appearance during Kygo‘s set, and performed “No Tears Left to Cry” live for the first time.
Some fans have already dubbed the event “Arichella.”
