ABC/Paula LoboBy now, you’ve probably heard that Ed Sheeran‘s 2018 Divide tour raked in a historic amount of money: $429.5 million, to be exact. But how much did he personally make from that? Well, a lot.
E! Online reports that documents filed by Ed’s touring company, Nathan Cable Touring, on December 31 show that the singer personally earned about $49 million for the financial year ending March 31, 2018. Divided by 365 days in year, that’s $134,000 per day…and that’s only the money he made from touring.
As E! Online points out, Ed also has a company called Ed Sheeran Limited, and in 2017 alone, it earned a gross profit of over $34 million.
The Divide tour will resume later on this year.
