Image Group LA/ABCOh, sure, ringing in 2019 in Las Vegas sounds exciting, with so many big-name stars performing all over town. But the amount of money you’ll have to pay to check out those big-name stars might have you filing for bankruptcy in January.
Say you’d like to kick off New Year’s weekend watching Lady Gaga debut her brand-new residency show Enigma at the Park MGM. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, you can still buy tickets on the secondary market for Friday night’s premiere — but they start at $787 apiece and top out at $7,777 each.
Ariana Grande‘s performance at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday night is only slightly cheaper: Those tickets on the secondary market start at $1,115 and top out at $3,579.
But on New Year’s Eve proper, Imagine Dragons is a relative bargain: You can see them at The Chelsea for just $489-$505, according to the Journal.
Surprisingly, according to the paper, the biggest bargains of all are for Bruno Mars‘ show Monday night at the T-Mobile Arena, which cost a mere $85-$750, and Maroon 5‘s Monday night concert at Mandalay Bay, which cost just $79-$230.
