NBC/Trae Patton On Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, the 10 artists who performed on Monday learned that Dave Fenley, from Team Blake Shelton, and DeAndre Nico, from Adam Levine’s team, were sent home.
Fenley and Nico were eliminated at the end of the one-hour results show. They lost an “Instant Save” vote to Reagan Strange, also from Team Adam.
There are now eight artists remaining in the competition, including those of Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson‘s teams
Prior to the vote, Daly explained that Strange, “wasn’t feeling well,” and unable to perform. However, she was still eligible to be saved by America. That left Fenley and Nico to sing for an opportunity to be saved by the viewers. Fenley covered Lonestar’s “Amazed”; and Nico tackled John Legend’s “All of Me.”
The evening also included Anne-Marie and James Arthur singing their “Rewrite the Stars,” off The Greatest Showman — Reimagined album. Kelly Clarkson also performed “Heat,” the new single from her album Meaning of Life, and former Voice coach Gwen Stefani, joined by Latin singer Mon Laferte, sang “Feliz Navidad,” from Gwen’s Christmas album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas (Deluxe Edition).
The Voice returns Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
