Disney/Mark AshmanGet yourself into the Christmas spirit tonight by tuning into The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, which will feature festive performances by Meghan Trainor, American Idol champ Maddie Poppe, Andrea Bocelli and Gwen Stefani, who says appearing on the special is, for her, “beyond a dream.”
“For me to be part of this holiday show is something that I could never have dreamed of…when I was little,” says Gwen. “I lived so close to Disneyland my whole life, I was always watching every single Disney cartoon, really into the music, so to be here and be able to perform in the park is just beyond a dream.”
On tonight’s show, Gwen performs “Feliz Navidad,” a new songs on the reissue of her 2017 holiday album You Make It Feel Like Christmas.
Meanwhile, Meghan Trainor will sing a medley of her hits, and joining country star Brett Eldredge on their 2016 duet “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”
“To be here [in Disneyland] around Christmastime is my favorite thing to do of all time,” gushes Meghan. “Every year I go to Disneyland — Disney World is even cooler — and to be here with my entire family, I feel like the coolest Christmas champion there ever was!”
“They have the best decorations, the best music, it’s just the best Christmas spirit you can get anywhere in the world,” she says.
Also on tonight’s special, you’ll see Maddie Poppe perform “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” Aloe Blacc sing a new song called “I Got Your Christmas Right Here,” Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo perform their duet “Fall On Me,” Becky G sing “Santa Baby” and boy band Why Don’t We perform a medley of Christmas songs.
Jordan Fisher and Sarah Hyland host the special, which airs at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
