Beluga Heights/Warner Bros./What a MusicJason Derulo has a “lost and found” romance with a beautiful woman in the new video for “Goodbye,” his collaboration with Nicki Minaj and David Guetta.
In the clip, Jason wakes up next to a woman, but then leaves to continue his busy life as a global pop star. She waits for him to show up for a romantic dinner, but he doesn’t appear. She calls him, but he doesn’t answer.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj appears in a variety of revealing outfits, both rapping and singing the hook, which is an interpolation of the Andrea Boccelli classic “Time to Say Goodbye.” There’s also a segment where Willy William — who you may know from the song “Mi Gente” — sings in Spanish and French while surrounded by scantily-clad dancers.
Finally, we see Jason onstage, with David Guetta manning the turntables — and he spots the girl in the audience. He pulls her onstage and they embrace as the clip ends.
“Goodbye” is featured on David Guetta’s new album 7.
