Hayley Eichenbaum“Happy Now,” Zedd‘s collaboration with singer Elley Duhé, now has a video, and a pretty twisted one at that.
The clip depicts two couples who are sharing a vacation home in the desert with a pool. As they swim in the pool, we flash back to the previous night, when the female half of one couple notices that her partner seems to be paying a little too much attention to the female half of the other couple. Sure enough, later that night, she catches them kissing and slipping into a bedroom together.
The next day at the pool, we see the scorned woman preparing drinks for her partner and the other couple with a special ingredient: poison. She serves the drinks, and the other couple seems to keel over dead. The cheating guy seems affected too, and tries to run away, but the woman calls the cops on him.
As the cops drag him away, the woman screams and cries hysterically and seems to indicate that the guy is responsible for the deaths of the other couple. But as they throw him in back of the police car, she gives an evil smile — and then resumes crying hysterically.
“Happy Now” is the follow-up to Zedd’s smash “The Middle,” featuring Maren Morris and Grey. He recently opened for Katy Perry on her Australia and New Zealand tour dates, and will return to his Vegas residency at the Hakkasan club this weekend.
