Kai Z. FengBruno Mars has broken a record in his Honolulu hometown.
According to Billboard, the singer has become the first artist to sell out three back-to-back shows at the 50,000-seat Aloha Stadium. He surpasses U2 and Michael Jackson’s previous record of two consecutive sellouts at the venue.
The three-night homecoming engagement will kick off November 8.
The last time Bruno played in his home state was in 2014, when he did three shows at Honolulu’s much smaller Blaisdell Arena, which seats just under 9,000 people.
