Mike Coppola/Getty Images for People.comAge ain’t nothing but a number for Nick Jonas. A source tells People the 25-year-old singer loves the fact that his rumored fiancée Priyanka Chopra is 11 years older than him.
“The age difference is not a big deal to them whatsoever,” the source says. “Nick loves dating older women, and if anything, it makes Priyanka even more attractive to him.”
The source adds that settling down at such a young age feels natural to Nick because he’s “always been very mature for his age” and is “an old soul.”
Nick and Priyanka began dating two months ago and reportedly got engaged earlier this month while celebrating Priyanka’s 36th birthday in London.
“Nick has been obsessed with Priyanka since they started dating,” the insider says. “He obviously thinks she’s beautiful, but he’s also drawn to her intelligence. She has this charisma and energy that draws you to her, and she’s fit in so well with his friends and family.”
Nick previously dated model Olivia Culpo, who was a year older than him, but was also linked to Kate Hudson, who’s 39. He also used to date singer Delta Goodrem, who’s eight years older than him.
Meanwhile, Nick is teaming up with Strike Out Slavery, an organization founded by Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols to bring awareness to human trafficking. He’ll be performing at the first Strike Out Slavery awareness festival at Nationals Park, following the Washington Nationals game on August 23.
