Atlantic RecordsJason Mraz and Meghan Trainor have released a new duet, “More Than Friends.”
The track, which comes with a lyric video, is a gentle love song about two friends who admit they have feelings for each other.
“There are few artists as talented, joyful, and present as Meghan,” Jason says in a statement. “She was very inspiring to work with.”
Meghan adds, “I loved working with Jason. I had to pretend I wasn’t freaking out the whole time as I’m his biggest fan. Not only is he so talented, but he’s extremely humble and kind too.”
The song is featured on Jason’s upcoming album, Know., out August 10. Jason has also released the track list for the album.
As previously reported, prior to the album release, on August 7, Jason Mraz: Have It All – The Movie will hit select theaters for one day only. The documentary will show the making of Know.
Meghan’s album Treat Myself, meanwhile, comes out August 31.
