Mert & MarcusTaylor Swift experienced a production malfunction during her concert in Philadelphia this weekend, but she handled it like a pro.
During her song “Delicate,” the singer got stuck mid-air in a glittery contraption that was supposed to fly her across the stadium. Halfway into the song, she realized there was a problem. In a video obtained by TMZ, she’s heard telling the crowd, “I’m pretty sure I’m stuck up here. It’s a nice view, though.”
She finished the song and then further explained, “So what you just saw was me going like straight up and down in this sparkly basket. It’s supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium. So what happens now is basically I’m just chilling waiting to figure out what happens next.”
While waiting for someone to get her down, she chatted with the audience and led them in an a cappella sing-along of her songs “Our Song” and “Wildest Dreams.”
Taylor was eventually rescued and the show went on without a hitch.
