Republic RecordsJulia Michaels has released the dreamy, smoky video for her song “Jump,” featuring Trippie Red.
The video — bathed in purple, blue and pink light — features Julia hanging out inside and outside of a parked car as she sings about jumping into a new relationship too soon after heartbreak.
She films herself with a handheld video camera and her image flashes on TV screens stacked on top of the vehicle. She also uses handheld smoke machines to give everything a hazy vibe.
Trippie Red joins her for his rap verse mid-way through. The two dance around together and jump around a couch.
Michaels is currently opening for Maroon 5 on their Red Pill Blues tour. You can also hear her duetting with Shawn Mendes on his self-titled new album.
