Vincent PetersOn Mother’s Day, Kelly Clarkson released a video for the title track of her current album, Meaning of Life, and it features cameos by her two young children, River and Remy.
The video begins with Kelly wandering barefoot through a gloomy, ruined mansion, with paint peeling off the walls and rubble and a chandelier on the floor. Various musicians play along in different parts of the mansion. Kelly ultimately walks through a door and sees a huge tree is growing in the middle of a room.
Then we see Kelly, the band and her backup singers all together in the room with the tree, which is now bursting with leaves and flowers, while flowers and vines are growing all over the room and up the walls. We then see Kelly standing outside in a stone gazebo, and daughter River and son Remy are playing on the grass nearby. The clip ends with Kelly walking up a sweeping staircase towards a light at the top of the stairs.
River and Remy are Kelly’s two youngest kids; she also has an older stepson and stepdaughter from her husband Brandon’s previous relationship.
This weekend, Kelly will host and perform on the Billboard Music Awards, airing Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
