Epic RecordsMeghan Trainor hit us with a double dose of new music Thursday.
The singer released two songs from her upcoming third album: “Let You Be Right” and “Can’t Dance.”
“I was going to release just one song today, but I’m too excited so I’m giving you two! LET’S DANCE,” Meghan says in a statement.
“Let You Be Right” is a disco-influenced dance track about trying to end an argument with a significant other.
“I don’t wanna fight tonight/I’mma let you be right/We can make up if you just kiss me at the next traffic light,” she sings on the bouncy chorus.
“Can’t Dance” is a sassy song about taking the lead with a guy who’s lacking in smooth moves.
“Even if ya can’t dance just hold my hips/Hold my hips while I roll my hips/Even if ya can’t dance I’ll handle it/Follow me and don’t stop,” she sings.
The two new songs follow the album’s lead single “No Excuses.” All three will be featured on Meghan’s forthcoming third album, which still doesn’t have a title or release date.
