Bruno Mars answers fans questions on new music, future collaborations and more

Kai Z. FengBruno Mars participated in a Twitter Q&A with fans on Sunday, revealing some tidbits on new music, future collaborations and who’s inspiring him at the moment.

When someone asked if we’d be getting a follow-up album to 24K Magic this year, he responded, “I don’t know bout all that. but I will do my best to leave y’all wit something to rock to.”

Another fan asked who he’d like to collaborate with and Bruno couldn’t pick just one person.

“Everyone!!” he said. “I wanna go on a collaboration spree. Jump from studio to studio and start writing again.”

But when someone asked if it was true that he was planning to do a track that would team him with the late Michael Jackson — similar to the 2014 song Justin Timberlake did with MJ called “Love Never Felt So Good” — shot that down as false.

As for who is inspiring him at the moment, he said, “Childish Gambino. From his show Atlanta to his music and new video. All around incredible.”

He said he’s been listening to a wide variety of music currently, including The Beach Boys, Gucci Mane, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down and Incubus.

Bruno also tells fans he’s not considering a move into acting.  And when someone asked if his summer body was ready, he joked, “If summer body means shaped like Bart Simpson then Im absolutely ready.”
