ABC/Rick RowellAdam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo recently welcomed their second daughter, but they’re already thinking about expanding their family again.
On The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday, Adam told Ellen there are “a lot” more kids in their future – but he’s leaving it up to his wife to decide when they’ll try for the next one.
When Ellen joked that they’ll probably have a third child soon, Adam said, “At this rate, yeah. I mean I think I’m definitely gonna let my wife be in control of the timing of the next child.”
He said they want “at least” five, to which Ellen quipped, “Maroon 5.”
Adam agreed, saying, “Maroon 5. We have to have a band of children.”
His daughters, 19-month-old Dusty Rose, and 11-week-old Gio Grace, will get a taste of the band life when Maroon 5 hits the road this summer. Adam told Ellen he’s bringing the family along this time.
“I always thought of tour, you know, we’re in our bunks and it’s a bunch of dudes hanging out with each other and it’s like sleepaway camp, and it’s gonna turn into a totally different thing,” he said.
“I’ve never even thought about that, so we’ll probably have to have like a family bus or something. It’s gonna be strange.”
The North American leg of the tour kicks off May 30 in Tacoma, Washington.
