Report: Bruno Mars to play homecoming show at Hawaii's Aloha Stadium

Image Group LA/ABCHe hasn’t officially announced it yet, but Bruno Mars is reportedly heading to Hawaii for his biggest show ever in his home state.

HawaiiNewsNow.com reports that Bruno is going to return to Hawaii sometime in November to headline a show at Honolulu’s 50,000 seat Aloha Stadium. Right now, Bruno’s 24K Magic tour is slated to wrap up October 27 in Los Angeles, so it wouldn’t be that hard for him to tack on a date in Hawaii soon afterwards.

The last time Bruno played in his home state was in 2014, when he did three shows at Honolulu’s much smaller Blaisdell Arena, which seats just under 9,000 people.

Scalping was so rampant for those shows that it prompted Hawaiian legislators to introduce what’s known as the “Bruno Mars Act,” which would require fans to purchase all concert tickets at a venue’s physical box office for the first 48 hours that they are put on sale.
