Imagine Dragons members partnering with esports company ReKTGlobal

ABC/Image Group LAImagine Dragons is getting in on the esports game.

According to EsportsInsider.com, guitarist Wayne Sermon and drummer Daniel Platzman have partnered with company ReKTGlobal to become co-owners of its Las Vegas-based esports organization Rogue.

ReKTGlobal is described as an “esports infrastructure company” that “looks to bridge the gap between traditional sports and esports,” while Rogue fields teams in Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rainbow Six Siege leagues.

“We love gaming and esports and have been looking for new ways to contribute to this community for a long time — but we never found the right fit until now,” says ID’s manager Mac Reynolds.

Imagine Dragons first entered the esports world in 2014 with their song “Warriors,” which they wrote for the League of Legends World Championships.
