First batch of 2018 Billboard Music Awards nominees announced

Greg WilliamsEd Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift are among the artists competing for top honors at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

The first batch of nominations were announced on NBC’s Today show by Khalid and Bebe Rexha, who both announced that the other had been nominated.  Bebe is up for Top Country Song for “Meant to Be,” her collabo with Florida Georgia Line.  Khalid, meanwhile, is competing for Top New Artist against 21 Savage, Camila Cabello, Cardi B and Kodak Black.

The Billboard Music Awards will air on NBC May 20 at 8 p.m ET, live from Las Vegas.
