ABC/Image Group LAOn July 28, Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds will host the 2018 LOVELOUD festival in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The annual event, which launched in 2017, supports LGBTQ+ youth and raises awareness of that community’s suicide rate.
“We at LOVELOUD are determined to help create a more loving and accepting environment for them, while also hoping to raise more than $1 million dollars for local and national LGBTQ+ charities,” says Dan in a statement.
“We look forward to a day dedicated to celebrating their diversity while listening to great music and inspiring speakers.”
Imagine Dragons will perform at the festival, along with Zedd, Neon Trees‘ Tyler Glenn, America’s Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal and Mike Shinoda of the band Linkin Park.
The launch of the inaugural LOVELOUD festival is detailed in Dan’s upcoming documentary Believer, which premieres on HBO in June.
