Together, Sia and David Guetta have teamed up for a number of singles over the years, including their smash “Titanium.” Now, they’ve returned with a new collabo, which will appear on David’s upcoming album.
The song, “Flames,” is available on all digital service providers. Like “Titanium,” it’s an anthem of empowerment, with Sia offering the encouraging message, “Look within for the strength today/Listen out for the voice to say/Just keep moving.”
“Figure it out, figure it out, you can do this,” she sings. “Oh, my love, don’t stop running/Gonna send them up in flames.”
In a statement, David says, “‘Titanium’ is still one of the tracks I am proudest of and Sia is one of my favorite artists to work with. She’s a great songwriter and has an amazing voice. I’m just super excited that we get to release another track together.”
David heads to Miami this weekend for the Ultra Music Festival. Thursday in Miami, the day before the start of the festival, a documentary about the rise of EDM called What We Started will have its premiere. David is featured in it, as are Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Usher, Ed Sheeran and Tiesto.
