The rapper will be joining a new film based on the UglyDolls stuffed toys. He’ll be writing and performing an original song for the movie, as well as voicing one of the main characters.
“It’s truly an honor to have the opportunity to work alongside the [STX Entertainment] team and be involved with UglyDolls,” Pitbull says in a statement. “The brand takes a fun approach to universal messages no matter color, culture or creed. These are themes I am passionate about, and our team is very excited about this partnership.”
The movie, set for a 2019 release, will revolve around the UglyDolls confronting what it means to be different and discovering that you don’t have to be perfect to be awesome.
