In the clip, Demi, wearing a dramatic long red dress and a huge bejeweled necklace, stands in a vivid green field on an alien planet. As she sings the empowering anthem, we see footage from the movie, which stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and newcomer Storm Reid as Meg Murry. We also see dancers moving inside tornadoes of white particles.
“I’m living my best life/I am a flower that’s blooming, like roses in spring,” Demi signs. “Living my best life/I am wearing a crown that’s only fit for a queen/I’m glorious, victorious/a warrior.”
At the end, Demi stands in a golden wheat field, and DJ Khaled joins her to deliver his verse. ‘When times got hard, I went harder/The best thing I ever did was believe in me.”
A Wrinkle in Time is in theaters now; the soundtrack, which also features Sia and Sade, is also available.
