Camila Cabello's “Havana” Matches Mariah's 22-year record

Dennis LeupoldCamila Cabello’s smash hit “Havana” has just hit a chart milestone.

After previously topping the Billboard Pop Songs chart last December, and the Billboard Rhythmic Songs in January, the track has now topped Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart.  All three charts measure radio airplay.

That makes “Havana” the first song by a female artist to have topped all three of those charts in 22 years.  The last time it happened was when Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” was in the middle of its record-setting chart run.

Since those three lists have existed, “Havana” is just the ninth song to have accomplished this, overall.  The last track to do it was “Uptown Funk” in 2015.  Other songs that’ve done it include John Legend’s “All of Me,” Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy” and Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors.”

It’s a nice early birthday present for Camila, who turns 21 this Saturday, March 3.
