Kai Z. FengThe NAACP Image Awards take place tonight, but Bruno Mars is already a winner.
Man of the awards were presented in advance at a gala dinner Sunday night in Pasadena, CA, and Bruno picked up three: Outstanding Male Artist, and Outstanding Traditional Song and Music Video for “That’s What I Like.” Bruno is also up for Entertainer of the Year, and he’ll find out tonight if he wins in that category when the show airs live on TV One at 9 p.m. ET.
And in more good news for Bruno, his album 24K Magic has just returned to the top five on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. That’s because the album’s new single, “Finesse,” has been doing so well; it’s expected to debut in the top 10.
24K Magic is currently #4; it hasn’t been that high on the chart since April of 2017. The album came out in late 2016.
