Justin Timberlake shows making of “Filthy” and how the song became “a force”

RCA RecordsThe reactions from fans on Justin Timberlake‘s new single “Filthy” may be mixed, but Justin says he had no doubts about the song while recording it.

In a new behind-the-scenes video posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Justin takes us into the studio during the making of the electro-funk tune. We see Justin and his collaborators, including Timbaland, expressing their excitement over how the song is coming together.

“I’m not really sure who’s gonna respond to what, but I do know how everyone responded to that song in the studio,” Justin says in clip.

As we see scenes of him dancing around the studio, Justin adds that “Filthy” became “a force” that no one could deny.

“You talk about a whisper or a bang? That one’s a bang,” he says.

“Filthy” is the first single off Justin’s new album, Man of the Woods, which drops February 2.
