Atlantic RecordsAfter dropping a remix of his song “Finesse” featuring “Bodak Yellow” rapper Cardi B, Bruno Mars is now gushing about her on Instagram.
“I met cardi B at 3 am after my show in LA backstage where we recorded her verse for Finesse. She walked in the room and she was everything I’d hope she’d be,” Bruno writes in the caption of a goofy selfie of them together.
“Never change cardi! Don’t let this crazy music business change who you are. You posses something that can’t be taught,” Bruno adds. “You’re a true star.”
He goes on to thank Cardi for “putting your energy and love all over this record and video,” adding, “I hope you feel better soon because we got some celebrating to do. Everyone show ya love for the one and only CARDI B!”
On her Instagram feed, Cardi posted a clip of the song’s video, which is a tribute to the classic ’90s show In Living Color. “I JUST LOVE THIS SONG AND VIDEO …Thank you @brunomars !!!!!” she wrote.
