RCA RecordsFollowing the news that Justin Timberlake‘s new album Man of the Woods would be out February 2, we now have many more details on his new single and video.
JT will release the new song, “Filthy,” on Friday, January 5. That same day, the video will arrive, directed by video veteran Mark Romanek. The clip, described as “colorful,” “futuristic” and “dance-heavy,” casts Justin as an inventor unveiling his latest creation.
After the “Filthy” video, Justin will then release three more songs and videos leading up to the album’s launch. Each will be directed by a different person, and feature “their own individual style and color,” according to Justin’s label. The songs will come out weekly starting January 18.
As for the album itself, it’s described as Justin’s “most ambitious album to date,” and features contributions from country star and JT duet partner Chris Stapleton, as well as Alicia Keys, The Neptunes, and Timbaland.
A special Target edition of the album will feature special cover art, a poster and a digital download. Target will also sell a special edition of the vinyl version of Man of the Woods. Pre-sale starts January 5.
