Mert & MarcusIf you guessed that the baby voice at the beginning of Taylor Swift’s “Gorgeous” is Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughter, you’re correct.
Taylor confirmed in the liner notes of her just-released album Reputation that the “baby intro voice” does indeed belong to two-year-old James Reynolds.
One of Taylor’s fans who attended one of her Secret Sessions revealed a little more about how the cute cameo came about.
“Taylor was with Blake and Ryan at the beach and was playing gorgeous for them on her guitar, and then their daughter, James, kept saying ‘gorgeous’ over and over,” the fan wrote on Twitter. “.. so Taylor was like, ‘could i use that?’ and the intro was born.”
“Gorgeous” is rumored to be a song about Taylor’s current boyfriend, British actor Joe Alwyn.
