Taylor’s man, British actor Joe Alwyn, appears on The Hollywood Reporter’s new list of Next Gen Talent 2017, among a variety of actors whom the publication describes as “Hollywood’s Rising Stars 35 and Under.” The 26-year-old actor makes the list because he’s appearing in no less than four upcoming dramas, starring opposite talent including Emma Stone, Oscar Isaac, Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie. Not bad for a guy who landed his first movie role only two years ago.
Joe tells the Hollywood Reporter his worst on-set habit is that “I beat myself up too much sometimes.” Listening to Taylor’s album might boost his ego, since he reportedly inspired a number of the songs, including “…Ready for It?'”
Here’s another reason why Taylor might love Joe. Asked what Hollywood’s biggest problem is, he says, “Especially in light of what’s recently been in the news, men not abusing their power, and gender equality. That’s pretty obvious at the moment.”
