ABC/Randy HolmesJohn Mayer is celebrating his big birthday with a Big Lebowski-themed gift to himself.
The singer, who turns 40 Monday, got himself a diamond-encrusted necklace with a pendant in the likeness of The Dude, Jeff Bridges’ character in The Big Lebowski. He posted a photo of his new bling on Instagram.
“If you’re asking me if I had [jeweler Ben Baller] make me a diamond encrusted chain bearing a likeness of The Dude for my 40th birthday, then I guess my answer would have to be you’re damn right I did,” he writes. “Anxiety and worry is canceled this week.”
The jeweler posted his own photos of his handiwork, showing off the back of the pendant which is engraved with The Dude’s famous quote, “Yah, well, that’s just like, your opinion, man.”
