Hear Adam Levine duet with Julia Michaels on new Maroon 5 track “Help Me Out”

222/InterscopeOver the years, Maroon 5 has recorded a number of duets with female artists, including Gwen Stefani, Hillary Scott of superstar country group Lady Antebellum, Christina Aguilera and, on their current single “What Lovers Do,” R&B singer SZA.  Now they’ve released their latest collaboration, this time with Julia Michaels.

The track, called “Help Me Out,” is the latest to be released from Maroon 5’s upcoming album Red Pill Blues. On the track, the “Issues” singer and Adam Levine trade verses about asking someone to help them forget something…possibly a recently-ended relationship.

“I need some temporary saving/I need some, some uncomplicated/Help me out/’Cause I don’t wanna do this on my own,” sings Adam. “Help me out/’cause I need something up to calm me down,” responds Julia.

“I don’t mean to bother you/But there’s something that I want from you,” he adds, to which she replies, “Distract me from thinking too much/Loose ends all tied up with a touch.”

“Help Me Out” is now available for download.  Red Pill Blues is out November 3.
